CORPIQ needs you

These activities are organized by the Société d’Habitation du Québec (SHQ) which received a mandate from the government to reassess and reform its housing assistance programs. During these consultations, several interest groups will voice their demands for more construction of subsidized housing units. While vacancies are on the rise in the private sector, CORPIQ is the only organization which, in contrast, requests that government support be rather directed towards rent assistance programs. This approach helps four times as many households, is quicker and does not compete with private building owners.
