The OMH of Gatineau is looking for apartments

The Office Municipal d’Habitation (OMH) of Gatineau is looking for housing units located in its territory in order to adequately accommodate a clientele consisting of low income families and individuals on its waiting list.
These apartments will take advantage of the Rent Supplement program. Landlords will thus be receiving the rent portion that exceeds 25% of the tenant’s income. After demanding such initiatives for years, CORPIQ can finally rejoice in the news.
The sought after housing units must meet the following criteria:
- Electricity, hot water and heating must be included in the rent
- Apartment building must be near services and amenities (health, grocery, pharmacy, etc.)
- Unit must be made available to the OMH within the next year
- Studios are not accepted
Dwellings in accessible buildings and not located in a semi-basement will be prioritized.
Interested property owners must fill out and submit the attached form below (in French) to the OMH at the following address:
