IMMO 202 : Watch de virtual conferences

IMMO 2022 was a resounding success. In front of a packed room of more than 350 real estate industry professionals, participants attended conferences that brought hope and clarity to better weather this economic storm affecting the real estate sector.

CORPIQ is proud and happy to have organized an event that brought together some of the greatest experts in real estate investment, management, and economics, while offering an conductive atmosphere for networking.

The day began with a poignant conference on commitment, presented by none other than Pierre Lavoie. He reminded us how worthy leaders are those who brave the storms, who distinguish themselves from those who succeed only in good times, and who keep their sense of commitment by remembering their original mission, with perseverance and resilience. Indeed, it is important to understand that we share common goals and can therefore work together to achieve them, i.e., a well built and affordable housing stock, but also that there are many challenges to this goal.

These challenges, which mark the rental sector, were dissected from several angles by our gexpert guests. Whether it be that returns on the rental stock do not encourage long-term ownership, but on the contrary the sale for quick profits, the unbalance of supply that will not be easy to sort out, the increasing interest rates , the need for labor, the costs of labor and materials that are exploding. One thing is certain, our ability to adapt is being called upon more than ever.

In any case, these are the challenges of the housing world, challenges that CORPIQ is taking seriously and wanted to put forward as a leader in representing the interests of real estate landlords. And even though the event was in person, all the conferences presented were recorded. It is therefore possible to view the entire day dedicated to rental real estate.
