Rent setting 2021: the numbers become clearer

While Ontario has enacted a rent freeze for 2021, Manitoba will grant landlords a 1.6% increase. The adjustment will be 1.4% in British Columbia and 1% in Prince Edward Island. As the only other province with rent controls, the Quebec government is expected to unveil its rent setting criteria on January 20. However, CORPIQ is already able to predict some numbers.
