The coronavirus is progressing
News
In April, 3% of landlords who responded to the CORPIQ survey had, or believed they had, at least one tenant infected with the coronavirus.
The May survey reveals that 5% of landlords now have at least one confirmed, or suspected, case in their building. More specifically, 3% had information from a reliable source (from the tenant himself or from the authorities), while 2% believe they have a tenant with the virus but are not sure.
In Montreal, 6% of landlords have a confirmed or suspected case.
Remember that an infected tenant must respect the quarantine and not leave his or her unit. CORPIQ has put useful information online on its Q&A page on COVID-19 in the event that a tenant is infected. It also provides contacts if someone believes they have the virus and need medical services to confirm it.
