The price of plexes up 7% in Quebec over the last year

The average selling price of plexes has increased by 7% over the last year, according to the latest figures from the Centris provincial database collected for the Fédération des chambres immobilières du Québec.
In fact, buildings of two to five dwellings were sold at an average cost of $ 417,642 in Quebec over the last 12 months. In the past five years, this is a 20% increase.
In the Montréal metropolitan area, the average selling price was $ 532,005, up 8% from last year. In Quebec City, buildings of two to five dwellings sold for an average of $ 321,141, up 5% from last year.
The metropolitan areas of Sherbrooke and Saguenay also recorded increases, with plexes selling on average at $ 240,226 (+ 3%) and $ 188,547 (+ 2%), respectively.
In Gatineau, the average price of plexes fell to $ 296,704 (-1%) over the last 12 months. As for the Trois-Rivières metropolitan area, the value of plexes has hardly changed since last year, for an average of $ 162,639.
