Violent tenant evicted by rental board

In a ruling by Administrative Judge Isabelle Normande, the Régie du logement granted part of an owner’s request to terminate a lease and evict a tenant due to an isolated event of gross misconduct against the manager. The commissioner felt that the case did not lend itself to ordering a lease termination, but ordered the immediate eviction of the tenant instead. A lease termination was not declared.
