Baby Boomers: Tomorrow's Tenants

If 75-year-olds and over currently make up nearly 10% of the tenant base, this group will account for 20% of tenants by 2035 due to ageing baby boomers. This is one of the findings of the Montreal CMA Rental Market Report, published by the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), which provided market intelligence on the metropolitan area, including an overview of upcoming trends.
