Application for revocation refused after being absent from the hearing
Rulings
A tenant who is more than three weeks in arrears with her rent payments is being evicted from a unit and ordered to pay the landlord $2,940 plus costs of $102. Following this decision rendered by the Tribunal on January 26 (in connection with a hearing that took place on January 11), the tenant filed an application to set aside the decision on February 8. However, the absence of the tenant at this hearing was not justified and the application for revocation was not accepted. This resulted in the decision to terminate the lease being upheld.
