Rulings
Administrative Judge Isabelle Hébert, of the Tribunal administratif du logement, considered the compensation offered to a tenant who had to temporarily leave his dwelling for three months for renovations, to be insufficient. She therefore ordered the landlord to pay a fixed amount of $1,500 on the date of evacuation, an amount of up to $1,200 for the move, as well as storage costs upon presentation of supporting documents.
